Rest Is Not Weakness

Pastor Kyle

In our culture, busyness is worn like a badge of honour. To rest feels like falling behind. But the Good Shepherd does not lead us to green pastures because we have earned a break. He leads us there because He knows what we need.

Psalm 23 describes a God who is not anxious about your productivity. He makes you lie down. He restores your soul. This is not weakness - it is wisdom.

If you are exhausted today, know this: God is not disappointed in you. He is inviting you. Come to the still waters. Let Him restore what the road has taken from you.

Prayer: Shepherd, I release my striving today. Lead me to the still place. Restore what has been worn down. I trust Your pace, not mine. Amen.
