Privacy

This is the website of One Direction Christian Fellowship (ODCF), 3 Cornwall Street, Bunbury WA 6230. When this page says “we”, it means the church. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles.

• Forms you fill in. Plan a visit, contact, prayer, Kingdom Kids, tutoring and group interest forms ask for your name and how to reach you, plus anything you choose to tell us. We use it to reply and to help you.
• Email and text updates. Only if you tick the box for them. Every update email has an unsubscribe link, and you can reply STOP to any text.
• Prayer requests. Private by default. A request only goes on the public prayer wall if you ask for that, and only after Pastor Kyle has read it. Ask us any time and we’ll take it down.
• Children’s details. The Kingdom Kids form asks a parent or carer for a child’s name, age, and any allergies or medical needs, so we can keep them safe. The tutoring form asks about the student and how they learn best. We only take this from a parent or carer.
• Giving. Card gifts are handled by Stripe. We see your name, email and the amount for your receipt, never your card number. A personal gift to Pastor Kyle by PayID goes straight to his bank and does not pass through this website.
• Visit counts. We count which pages are visited and how people found us (for example from Facebook or a QR code). This doesn’t include your name or contact details. Choose “No thanks” on the cookie notice and we stop counting your visits. To stop spam, the forms briefly keep a scrambled version of your internet address.

Pastor Kyle and the church leaders who need it to help you, for example Kingdom Kids leaders for a child’s registration. We never sell or rent your details, and we don’t use them for advertising.

These services store or send information for us. Some are based overseas, mainly in the United States:

• Vercel (runs the website) and Upstash (stores form details)
• Resend (sends emails) and Twilio (sends texts)
• Stripe (processes card gifts)
• Google Maps and YouTube (the maps and videos on our pages). Google may set its own cookies when you view or play them.

Links to Facebook, WhatsApp and other sites take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.

Only as long as it’s useful for the reason you gave it. Visit counts are cleared automatically. If you’d like your details deleted, just ask.

You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or stop any updates, by emailing pastorkyle@odcfchurch.com. If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your information, tell us and we’ll put it right. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
